“Jay Banda’s escape is part of a syndicate to cause instability”

Economic Front Party -EFP- president WYNTER KABIMBA says the escape from custom of Petauke Central MP EMMANUEL JAY BANDA is not an isolated incident but is part of a larger criminal syndicate aimed at causing instability in the country.

Mr. KABIMBA has called on investigative wings to uncover the motives behind the alleged funding of Mr. BANDA saying the interests of the syndicate are detrimental to the country.

Speaking at a Press briefing Mr. KABIMBA added that Mr. BANDA should not receive sympathy for his alleged criminal acts adding that individuals who violate the law must face arrest and prosecution regardless of their social status.

He said it is unfortunate that some sections of society are opposing the prosecution of the Petauke lawmaker who is on record of having committed a number of criminal offenses during the PF administration.
