Justice HAMAUNDU to head ACC Board

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has appointed retired Supreme Court Judge Justice EVANS HAMAUNDU as Board Chairperson of the Anti- Corruption Commission.
The President has also appointed, KAUMBU MWONDELA as Vice Board Chairperson of the Commission.
The appointments are subject to ratification by the National Assembly.
President HICHILEMA has also appointed to the Board, ENGWASE MWALE, JACK KALALA and NALUCHA ZIBA as Commissioners of the Board.
The appointments are in exercise of the powers vested in the President in paragraph 2(3) of the schedule to section 4(3) of the Anti -Corruption Act number 3 of 2012.
And President HICHILEMA has appointed DAPHNE CHABU as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission, subject to ratification by the National Assembly.
This is in exercise of the power vested in the President in section 9(2) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act No.3 of 2012.
President HICHILEMA has congratulated the appointees and wished them well in their new roles.
