Kabimba salutes HH’s stance on Corruption

Economic Front Leader WYNTER KABIMBA says NO President has shown the zeal to cleanse the country of corruption like President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA in the last 33 years.

Mr. KABIMBA says other than President LEVY MWANAWASA, President HICHILEMA is the only head of state who has shown serious commitment to rid the country of corruption.

And Mr KABIMBA says the action taken by President HICHILEMA to fire senior government officials accused of corruption is testament that the fight is not selective.

Speaking on ZNBC’s SUNDAY Interview, Mr KABIMBA said President HICHILEMA has proved that the fight against corruption is not political persecution, targeting certain individuals or regions.

He said the President has also proved that government is serious about fighting past and present corruption.

Meanwhile, Mr. KABIMBA said people who have been convicted for corruption must serve their sentences and not be pardoned unless there is a just cause to do so.

He said any person who has stolen public money must be arrested, prosecuted, and convicted.
