Kabuswe seeks EU support for skills development

Mines and Minerals Development Minister PAUL KABUSWE is seeking support from the European Union to boost skills development within the critical raw materials value chain in Zambia.
Speaking during a bilateral meeting with the International Partnership Commissioner in Brussels, Mr. KABUSWE noted that Zambia’s mining sector has experienced significant growth, with over 10 billion dollars in investments over the past three years.
Mr. KABUSWE has since called for increased collaboration in skills development in the mining sector.
Meanwhile, International Partnership Commissioner JOZEF SIKELA reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Zambia, with plans to fast-track support for the Zambia-Tanzania interconnector project
