By Rosemary Kamanga
Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary Robert Kamalata has praised ZNBC Radio One staff for their hard work and dedication to duty.
Dr. Kamalata says he is aware that some workers at ZNBC sometimes report as early as 4 a.m. and close the station at midnight, yet they are not adequately recognized and appreciated.
Dr. Kamalata made these remarks during an appreciation lunch he held for ZNBC in Lusaka today.
The lunch was attended by the ZNBC Director General and staff members from Radio One.
Dr. Kamalata further commended Mr. Lwando for his hard work, which is improving the corporation.
Dr. Kamalata’s wife, Glenda Kamalata, also said ZNBC staff should be encouraged and appreciated for their work.
Meanwhile, ZNBC Director General Berry Lwando expressed gratitude for the lunch and recognition.
Mr. Lwando said the corporation is exploring ways to elevate its staff.
He noted that ZNBC is a leader in the industry, with Radio One being the most listened-to radio station in the country.
Mr. Lwando also congratulated Dr. Kamalata on his recent acquisition of a doctorate degree.
