Kamanga urges U17 team to beat Japan

Football Association of Zambia-FAZ- President ANDREW KAMANGA has urged the U-17 team to conclude their World Cup campaign on good note despite the early exit.
In his weekly publication dubbed the President’s corner, KAMANGA said the team should strive to beat Japan in their final group D game and finish on a high even after being eliminated from the competition.
He says while the early exit following back to back defeats by Brazil and Poland is disappointing, a lot of positives can be drawn from the team’s participation and built on, as youth development is at the core of the 10 year-Strategic plan.
He also wished the Copper Queens best of luck as they start their COSAFA Campaign in Port Elizabeth.
