Kamwala Secondary School fire raises suspicion

Authorities are investigating a fire that swept through the deputy Head Teacher’s office at Kamwala secondary school in Lusaka.

The incident which was recorded on Saturday around 08:30 hours is the third case of fire at the school in a space of two years.

Lusaka City Council -LCC- Public Relations Manager CHOLA MWAMBA has confirmed incident in an interview with ZNBC News today.

Ms. MWAMBA said Lusaka Fire dispatched a response team to the scene and the team discovered that the fire was confined to the Deputy Head teacher’s office.

She said the cause of the fire is yet to be determined but the Local Authority has not ruled out foul play.
