Katete council told to rescope construction of Kagoro Police Post

Katete Town Council has been forced to re-scope the works on the construction of Kagoro Police Post after the contractor abandoned the project.

The project was initially funded from the 2022 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

This came to light when Eastern Province Minister Peter Phiri toured the project.

Mr. Phiri has since instructed the local authorities in the province to conduct profile checks on contractors before awarding them contracts.
