Kawambwa Police launch manhunt for MP

Police in Kawambwa have launched a manhunt for a Member of Parliament and a Tonse Alliance member for various offenses.
Luapula Province Police Commissioner, Mwala Yuyi, says the MP, whose identity has been withheld for purposes of investigations, is believed to have been part of an illegal search at a named lodge where UPND members are staying.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. Yuyi said the UPND members are reported to have lost money and other properties during the said illegal search.
He said police are also hunting for a female Tonse Alliance member for allegedly attacking Water Development Minister Mike Mposha and other members of his entourage.
Mr. Yuyi said some property and money are also believed to have been stolen during the confrontation.
