KCM gifts netball national team K1.3m

Konkola Copper Mines -KCM- has given the Zambia National Netball Team 1.3 million Kwacha for their Netball Africa Cup preparations.
The National Netball Team will start their defence of the continental championship in Namibia next week.
Zambia are the reigning Netball Champions after winning the trophy at the Netball Africa Cup which was held last year in Botswana.
KCM Director Corporate Communications MASUZYO NDHLOVU says the mining giant has decided to support Netball Zambia because of the good performance the athletes have made in the past.
Speaking when he handed over the cheque in Lusaka this morning, Mr. NDHLOVU urged the netball team to make the country proud.
And Netball Zambia President MARTHA SICHONE thanked KCM for sponsoring the Netball National Team for a second consecutive Africa Cup.
SICHONE assured the mining giant that the girls will bring glory to the nation.
Meanwhile, Netball National Team Captain BEAUTY NAKAZWE has promised that Zambia will defend the trophy.
