KENNETH KAUNDA Memorial Library to be set up

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has urged ZAMBIANS to continue upholding national unity.
Mrs. NALUMANGO says ZAMBIA is anchored on national unity pioneered by late first President KENNETH KAUNDA’s “One Zambia One Nation Motto.
She says the “One Zambia, One Nation Motto” has been the pillar of national unity over the years.
She said this in LUSAKA last night during the launch of the KENNETH KAUNDA Legacy Foundation.
Meanwhile Mrs. NALUMANGO said President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has adopted the principles of national unity and economic transformation that Dr. KAUNDA stood for.
At the same function, KENNETH KAUNDA Legacy Foundation Chairperson LOMBE CHIBESAKUNDA who is also former Supreme Court Judge said the launch of the KENNETH KAUNDA Legacy Foundation serves to preserve Dr. KAUNDA’s principles that have positively impacted on ZAMBIA’s political and economic transformation.
Meanwhile National Museum Board Director General GEORGE MUDENDA announced that his institution shall set up the KENNETH KAUNDA Memorial Library in honour of Dr .KAUNDA.
Mr. MUDENDA said currently efforts are being made to identity the appropriate location for the construction of the “KENNETH KAUNDA Memorial Library.
