A waste recycling company in South Korea has expressed interest in extending operations of waste management and recycling to Zambia.
Sinyang Technology Chief Executive Officer GUN LEE has also offered to build capacity for Zambians once the country adopts the company’s technology of manufacturing and installing waste recycling facilities.
Speaking when Zambia’s Ambassador to South Korea ANDREW BANDA visited the facility, Mr. LEE said the company is ready to collaborate in resolving environmental challenges associated with waste management.
And, Ambassador BANDA thanked the food company for highlighting its potential to solve Zambia’s waste management issues, create jobs and keep the environment clean.
Mr. BANDA said the Zambian Government is in a hurry to sort out problems of the environment especially in the urban areas where waste materials are not recycled.
