KTH kitchen gutted

The main kitchen for the low cost wards at Kitwe Teaching Hospital has been gutted.
And Kitwe Teaching Hospital senior medical superintendent, CHILESHE MBONI says some patients from Luangwa and Lukulu wards were in the early hours of today evacuated from the wards due to smoke from the gutted kitchen.
Dr. MBONI told ZNBC News that the fire is believed to have started as a result of an electric pot malfunctioning at around 04:00hours.
He said there are no casualties that have been recorded as a result of the fire and that management at the hospital is still assessing the value of the loss from the kitchen.
