Land Titling Programme issues 95,000 title deeds since January

Government has issued 89,200 land titles under the National Land Titling Programme from April to June this year.

Ministry of Lands Permanent Secretary, DAPHNE CHABU says this is compared to 5,800 land titles that were issued from January to March this year.

Ms. CHABU says this brings the total number of land titles issued to 95,000 from January to June this Year.

She said this when Habitat for Humanity handed over 128 certificate of land titles to residents of Katondo in Kabwe.

And Kabwe Central Member of Parliament CHRIZOSTER PHIRI has advised residents in the area to ensure that they obtain land titles.

Meanwhile, Habitat for Humanity National Director MATHABO MAKUTA says the organisation targets to offer certification of land titles to 632 households by September 2025.

Meanwhile, Kabwe Mayor PATRICK CHISHALA has advised Habitat for Humanity to extend the gesture to other parts of Kabwe.
