“Lilondo Ward by-election to be peaceful”

Political parties participating in the Lilondo Ward by-election in Shangombo District have committed to conducting peaceful campaigns.

Speaking in separate interviews ahead of the filing of nominations, political parties have committed to issue based and violent-free campaigns.

UPND Shangombo District Secretary MWISHI KUFEKISA said all the political players have agreed to campaign in a peaceful manner.

And Citizens First Western Province Secretary EVANS NGONDE said his party is committed to having violent free campaigns.

Meanwhile, Socialist Party Western Province Secretary MOSES NASILELE has assured that his party will conduct peaceful campaigns.

The nominations for the by-election will be conducted tomorrow while the by-election will be held on Friday.
