
Limulunga Residents back proposed Constitutional Amendments
Some Limulunga residents have backed Government’s proposal to amend some clauses in the constitution.
KANDE MUKELA says there is nothing wrong with the proposed amendments of selected clauses in the constitution as it will enhance and strengthen Zambia’s democracy.
Mr. MUKELA said this when President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA made a stop over on along Mongu -Limulunga road, to interact with the residents who had lined up to get a glimpse of the Head of State .
He says the amendments will favour both the youth and women in the country.
Mr MUKELA further said the community is happy to see President HICHILEMA attend the 2025 Kuomboka ceremony.
And, President HICHILEMA has thanked the residents for supporting Government’s agenda to amend some clauses in the constitution.
Meanwhile, The President has assured that Government will complete the construction of the hospital so that the community can now start using the facility.
He said once the facility is opened,the community should utilise it well as it is aimed at enhancing healths services in surrounding areas
President HICHILEMA further wished the people of western province well as the celebrate the kuomboka ceremony.
