By Adjoa Avemee
Some residents of Kalaluka Village in Livingstone say access to water has become a challenge after the two water pumps the community depends on developed faults.
Chimwemwe Nkhoma told ZNBC News that the village also has one installed borehole, but the residents are only allowed to access water for an hour each day.
Another resident, Jennifer Muleya, said the situation has affected the daily activities of most people in the village.
Meanwhile, Kabila Ward Councillor Mwiiba Mubita told ZNBC News in a telephone interview that the local authority is aware of the water challenge in Kalaluka Village.
Mr. Mubita said about twenty families in the village will soon have connected water lines from the borehole.
