
Lusaka Magistrates Allow Gulfstream Jet as Evidence in Mwale’s Corruption Case

The Lusaka Magistrates has allowed the production of the Gulfstream G650 Presidential Jet as part of evidence in former Defence Permanent Secretary Stardy Mwale’s corruption case.
Lusaka Chief Resident Magistrate, Davies Chibwili, delivered the ruling following the application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Meanwhile, Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Aeronautical Engineering and Air Defence Systems Chief, Brigadier General Paul Menshi, has testified that he does not know whether or not procedure was followed in the procurement of the Gulfstream G650 Presidential Jet.
General Menshi delivered the testimony during cross-examination by Defence Lawyers Milner Katolo and Leon Lemba.
This is in a matter where former Ministry of Defence Permanent Secretary Stardy Mwale is charged with corruption involving 573 million dollars linked to the procurement of the Gulfstream G650 Presidential Jet
