Lusaka man stabs ex-lover after she refused to reconcile
A man in Lusaka’s Mtendere East Compound has stabbed his 38 year old ex-lover for refusing to reconcile with him.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has identified the suspect as Kellys Phiri and the victim as Rebecca Kafusha.
Mr. Hamoonga told ZNBC News that the incident happened around midnight when Phiri angered by Kafusha’s refusal to reconcile, stabbed her in the neck.
He says the victim sustained injuries and has been rushed to Levy Mwanawasa Hospital for treatment.
Mr. Hamoonga said the suspect is on the run, and police have launched a manhunt.
