Lusaka to Conduct Integrated Agriculture Survey
Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary ROBERT KAMALATA says the Integrated Agriculture Survey that will be conducted in the province will help strengthen statistical development and capacity.
Mr. KAMALATA says the survey which is being undertaken by three Ministries in collaboration with Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTATS) is funded by the World Bank.
In a speech read on his behalf by Lusaka province Deputy Permanent Secretary, ALEX MAPUSHI during the enumerators and supervisors training in Lusaka, Mr. KAMALATA noted that the survey will address a wider range of factors when measuring the relevant elements
in the survey.
He added that the project will help close various data gaps identified in the eighth national development plan and the national strategy for development of statistics.
Mr. KAMALATA noted that the Integrated Agriculture survey will help monitor and evaluate the improvement of the project in enhancing the resilience of rural livelihood.
