Lusaka to title all land on which public infrastructure has been built

Lusaka Province has completed surveying properties in the education sector in Luangwa district for land titling.

Lusaka Provincial Administration Principal Public Relations Officer LOGIC LUKWANDA told ZNBC News that the exercise was done in 2024.

Mr. LUKWANDA explained that as of December 31, 2024, all 18 properties were surveyed and are now set to be titled.

And Mr. LUKWANDA said the provincial surveyors have since moved to Chongwe district to survey all land on which public infrastructure has been built.

He said the team is expected to cover all six districts under Lusaka Province to ensure land hosting public property and institutions is secured from unscrupulous people in the habit of encroachment.
