Lusambo to represent himself after firing lawyers

Incarcerated former Lusaka Province Minister, BOWMAN LUSAMBO has dropped his lawyers, CHARLES CHANGANO and NKULA BOTHA.

The lawyers were representing Mr LUSAMBO in a case where he is charged with possession of properties deemed to be proceeds of crime.

Mr. LUSAMBO stated his decision before Lusaka Chief Resident Magistrate, DAVIES CHIBWILI when the matter came up today.

He informed Magistrate CHIBWILI that he will be representing himself.

In this matter, Mr LUSAMBO was found with the case to answer in July 2024 and consequently put on his defence.
