Magistrate Threatens to Withhold Nakachinda’s Passport

LUSAKA Resident Magistrate, DAVIES CHIBWILI, has threatened to withhold Patriotic Front (PF) Faction Secretary General RAPHEAL NAKACINDA’s passport as part of measures to enhance bail conditions on his seditious case, should he travel abroad without the court’s knowledge.

Magistrate CHIBWILI issued the threat following Mr. NAKACINDA’s absence today.

Earlier, MPOROKOSO Member of Parliament BRIAN MUNDUBILE, as a surety, announced Mr. NAKACINDA’s non-availability for today’s trial date.

Mr. MUNDUBILE, who is also the former Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, told Magistrate CHIBWILI that Mr. NAKACINDA is in GHANA.

Magistrate CHIBWILI has adjourned the trial to February 03, 2025.
