“Maximize the country’s rich resources”

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has urged Zambians to maximize the country’s rich resources to uplift their living standards.

President HICHILEMA says as the country celebrates 60 years of independence, it is now the duty of all Zambians to work in unity to enable the country to attain economic and social independence.

He says the hard work by the forefathers to support Zambia’s Political Independence should be honoured by  attaining economic and social independence.

President HICHILEMA says despite the hardships faced by the forefathers they worked to attain independence  which should serve as an example to all Zambians.

In a Special interview with ZANIS, President HICHILEMA said the government has worked at cutting wasteful expenditure to support social sectors such as education.

And, President HICHILEMA stressed the need for all to uphold unity ,peace  and stability as it is a cornerstone for attracting investments in various economic  sectors.
