Ming’omba Mine offers 10 data science scholarships
The newly opened Ming’omba Mine in Chililabombwe is offering ten scholarships to Zambian youths to study data science.
This is part of the mine’s effort to incorporate artificial intelligence in mineral exploration.
Ming’omba Mine Director for Exploration ALEX MATTHEWS says the scholarships are for students at the University of Zambia and Copperbelt University.
The students will collaborate with Stanford University in the United States of America.
