Ministry of Health to increase access to medical services

The Ministry of Health has introduced a new framework aimed at increasing access to medical services.

Ministry Permanent Secretary in charge of Technical Services KENNEDY LISHIMPI says the Peri-Operative Strategy framework seeks to ensure that essential services are available at all health care levels.

Dr LISHIMPI was speaking at the revision of the expired National Surgery obstetrics and Anesthesia Plan-NSAOP in Lusaka.

And, Dr. LISHIMPI said the strategic framework will be implemented in two phases over seven years from 2024 to 2031 focusing on health system strengthening and improved health outcomes among others.
