
More Universities Back Constitutional Amendments

Students from various universities and learning institutions in Kabwe have backed the proposal to amend the constitution.
KWAME NKHRUMA University Students Union President MWANSA KUNDA says the students are willing to be incorporated in the constitution amendments process because the direction of President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is progressive.
Speaking during a press briefing, Mr. KUNDA said all that is needed is inclusivity, transparency and sensitization to enable all students make the right decision.
Meanwhile, Mulungushi University Students Union President JOSEPH MUMBA said the current state of the constitution does not align well with needs of youths and students.
And Kabwe Institute of Technology Students Union President IRVIN MUZIAMBA said students at his school have given the President full support to amend the constitution.
