Mother dumps babies at Cop’s house

POLICE in Chingola have apprehended a woman who dumped two babies at a police officer’s house.

Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer PEACEWELL MWEEMBA says police apprehended the woman, who is likely to be charged for child desertion after formalities are concluded.

Mr. MWEEMBA said the suspect wanted the babies to be taken to an orphanage because she could not afford to take care of them.
