MPs should put up sports Infrastructure-Nkandu

Youth Sport and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU has called on Members of Parliament to buy into the idea of putting up sports infrastructure in their constituencies.
Mr. NKANDU says once this is achieved, many challenges faced among young people such as engaging in illicit activities will be addressed.
He says the availability of sporting facilities in every constituency of the country would ensure that young people are kept busy.
The Minister was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Pemba District Commissioner, OBEY HABEENZU at his office.
And Pemba Member of Parliament LAMECK HAMWAATA has thanked the minister for considering youths from the district to benefit under the 2024 national youth scheme.
Meanwhile, Pemba District Commissioner Mr. HABEENZU has thanked the government through the ministry of youth ,sport and arts for according to the district an opportunity to construct a skills training center.
