MUCHIMA calls on MPs to ensure health service equity

Health Minister ELIJAH MUCHIMA has urged Members of Parliament to take a leading role in ensuring equity in the health service delivery in their constituencies.
Dr. MUCHIMA says lawmakers have a collective mandate to ensure every citizen benefits from the health system regardless of geography and status.
He said this during the Health Score-card Training for selected MPs.
The training was organised by CAPAH and African Leaders Malaria Alliance and the End Malaria Council in Chongwe.
And Ministry of Health Director for Public Health, BUSHIMBA TAMBATAMBA said the score will transform how progress is measured and allocation of resources.
