Mufumbwe Gets ready for Kaminzekenzeke ward by elections

Stakeholders in Mufumbwe district of North -Western Province have described the ongoing electoral process and campaigns for the Kaminzekenzeke Ward by-election as peaceful and impressive.
The stakeholders have also pledged to ensure that the current peaceful environment is maintained during and after the election slated for Friday 12th July 2024.
They said this after witnessing the arrival of ballot papers and subsequent verification at the Mufumbwe Town Council.
Socialist Party District Chairperson AUGUSTINE SALUMBENI said his party is happy with the campaign environment.
And, UPND Mufumbwe Constituency Chairperson BRUCE KAPUKA said the campaigns have been going on well without any form of violence or character assassinations among all the political parties.
And Kaminzekenzeke Ward Returning Officer MARY CHIPONGE said the conflict management committee had not received any reports of violence in the ongoing campaigns.
Earlier, Mufumbwe District Electoral Officer ROBBIE CHITAMBO said he is impressed with the participation of political parties in the electoral process for Kaminzekenzeke local government by election.
