Mutati leads WorldSkills Competition delegation in France
Technology and Science Minister, FELIX MUTATI says Zambia’s participation and exposure to the WorldSkills competition plays a crucial role in sharpening the skills of young people.
Mr MUTATI, who has been delegated by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA to represent Zambia at the 47th Eurexpo Lyon WorldSkills Competition, said this on arrival in Lyon, France.
And , Mr MUTATI also reiterated the importance of collaboration with the private sector to ensure that the curriculum for skills development is private sector driven.
He also expressed gratitude to WorldSkills International for honouring Zambia to host the WorldSkills Africa competitions in April 2025 in Livingstone.
This is according to a statement issued by the First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Embassy in Paris, France NAOMI MWEEMBA.
