Muwana,Maimbolwa win Kuomboka Regatta
MUWANA MUWANA and MWANGALA MAIMBOLWA are the 2025 Kuomboka Regatta winners.
This is after the pair beat various competitors and paddled to the finish line after over 10 kilometers from Lealui palace to Mulamba harbour.
Speaking after the event, MUWANA said the sport comes in as a unifying factor as it has brough many people together.
He notes that the unity exhibited by traditional leaders and government has been instrumental in uniting communities and different tribes.
Meanwhile, Kuomboka Regatta Organizing Committee Member, GEOFFREY KANGOWA said the competition has attracted over 50 participants from various villages.
