Mwamba launches 3 anti-corruption documents

Minister of Community Development and Social Services DOREEN MWAMBA has urged officers in her ministry to help fight corruption by upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
Mrs. MWAMBA was speaking when she launched three ministerial documents; namely the Whistle-blower policy, Service delivery charter and the Gifts Benefits Policy.
Mrs. MWAMBA said she is optimistic that the implementation of the policies will stimulate a culture of hard work and strengthen the ethical framework as guided by policies in the documents.
And Community Development Permanent Secretary ANGELA KAWANDAMI said the implementation of the policy documents will require concerted efforts and commitment of all employees in the ministry to achieve the intended objectives.
And Acting Director General at the Anti Corruption Commission, MONICA MWANSA said implementing the documents will reinforce standards of ethical conduct and public confidence.
