Nalumango Acknowledges Efforts By Chiefs to Improve Agriculture Production

Vice President, MUTALE NALUMANGO has commended traditional leaders for taking the lead in agriculture production.

Mrs NALUMANGO says this demonstrates the traditional leaders’ will to end poverty at household level and improve the country’s economy.

Speaking at 85th anniversary celebration for SEEDCO Zambia, Mrs NALUMANGO said government will continue supporting efforts by chiefs in boosting the agriculture sector.

Mrs NALUMANGO has also commended SEEDCO for supplementing government’s efforts in agriculture, by producing different varieties of seed.

And SEEDCO Zambia Board Chairperson, CHANCE KABAGHE said the company will for the next 3 years sponsor 85 students in different agriculture programmes in order to support the agriculture sector.
