
Nalumango Backs calls for more women in the National Assembly

Vice President Mutale Nalumango has supported calls for increased Women representation in the National Assembly and other key elective positions in the country.
Mrs. Nalumango explains that women posses the potential to play a more influential role and contribute equally to the governance of the country.
She has further urged women to unite and work collaboratively toward achieving the goal of 50-50 gender equality, particularly by increasing the number of women in leadership positions.
The Vice President made these remarks when she graced the International Women’s Day celebrations in Lusaka today.
