Nalumango directs ZNS to harvest water from Lusaka drainages

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has directed the Zambia National Service -ZNS- to identify a site for harvesting water from Lusaka’s drainage system .
Mrs. NALUMANGO says harvested water can be utilized for various purposes such as in agriculture to mitigate the effects of climate change.
The Vice President said this when she inspected drainage works being undertaken by ZNS in Kanyama Constituency.
Mrs. NALUMANGO expressed satisfaction with the construction progress and urged other contractors nationwide to adopt a 24-7 work culture.
She emphasized that the new drainage system in Kanyama will reduce flood risks in the constituency.
Mrs. NALUMANGO also assured that the government is working to address resource limitations in various construction projects.
