NAWAKWI to Be Buried Tomorrow in Lusaka

The body of Former Cabinet Minister in the Movement for Multi Party Democracy -MMD Government, EDITH #NAWAKWI, has arrived in the country.
Ms. NAWAKWI’s body came aboard a South African Airline, at 12:40 hours via the Kenneth Kaunda International #Airport.
Ms. NAWAKWI, aged 66, died on Monday at Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she was evacuated for

And former Deputy Minister of Finance in the MMD Government, MBITA #CHITALA described Ms. NAWAKWI as a courageous woman who fought for women’s rights.
Dr. CHITALA said Ms. NAWAKWI served the country diligently.
Ms. NAWAKWI, will be put to rest tomorrow Friday April, 11, 2025 at Leopards Hill #Memorial Park in Lusaka.
