Ndola man arrested for defiling daughter

Police on the Copperbelt have arrested a 37-year-old man of Ndola for allegedly defiling his 3-year-old biological daughter.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner , PEACEWELL MWEEMBA says the suspect is accused of repeatedly defiling his daughter.

Mr. MWEEMBA has explained that last month, the mother of the victim travelled to Luanshya to look for employment and left the victim in the custody of her grandmother as they had been on separation with the suspect.

He disclosed that on June 29, 2024, the victim’s mother received a telephone call informing her that the daughter had been defiled and taken to the hospital.

Mr MWEEMBA says the victim’s mother however learnt that her husband used to get the child to his house where she could spend a night allegedly defiling her.
