New Contractor for Kalomo, Zimba, Kazungula road engaged -HH

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says a new contractor has been engaged to work on the Kalomo, Zimba and Kazungula road because the previous one did not do a good job.

President HICHILEMA says government does not want lazy contractors who are incapable of delivering quality works on time.

The President has committed that the new contractor will deliver quality works in good time because of the importance of the road to the people.

The President was speaking in NYAWA Chiefdom during the Guta Mweenze bbwe traditional Ceremony.

And President HICHILEMA says Katomobra Constituency is too vast and needs to be divided to ensure better delivery of development.

The President has since called on Members of Parliament to ensure all constituencies across the country that are vast are divided.

And Tourism Minister RODNEY SIKUMBA has thanked President HICHILEMA for his commitment and strength to attend traditional ceremonies across the country.

Meanwhile, Southern Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA says the Guta Mweenze bbwe traditional ceremony is important in showcasing tourism, agriculture and heritage as the country celebrates 60 years of independence.
