NIPA students refute protest claims
By Ruth Chayinda
National Institute for Public Administration Students’ Union President ALEXANDER FUMBELO has refuted claims that students were involved in the alleged protests against ZESCO.
Mr FUMBELO says the students met with ZESCO management last semester and addressed all concerns, contrary to recent reports suggesting unrest.
He says as opposed to protests, students at the learning institution believe in dialogue and bargaining.
Mr. FUMBELO has since urged media houses to investigate further to uncover the real sources behind the protest allegations.
He says NIPA will not tolerate being misrepresented and may pursue legal action against any organization spreading false information about the institution.
