Nkandu challenges corporates to help improve quality of education

Kaputa Member of Parliament Elvis Nkandu has called on the corporate community to supplement government efforts in improving the quality of education in Kaputa Constituency.
Mr. Nkandu hailed the positive impact of the increased Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in the constituency, such as the continued building of new classroom blocks and acquiring desks under CDF.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. Nkandu said that Kaputa Constituency is vast and CDF cannot be the only answer to the challenge of the lack of a proper learning environment in the remote parts of the constituency.
He has therefore embarked on a personal project to put up a one-by-two classroom block for the pupils of Mfula Primary School at the cost of over 800,000 Kwacha.
Meanwhile, some residents of Mfula Community have thanked the government for working with members of parliament like Elvis Nkandu, who are emulating President Hakainde Hichilema’s philanthropic attitude towards vulnerable communities in the country.
