NKANDU: No Govt interference in FAZ elections

Youth, Sport and Arts Minister, ELVIS NKANDU, has refuted allegations that Government is interfering in the upcoming Football Association of Zambia – FAZ- elections.

NKANDU has also denied claims that the government had a hand in the withdrawal of any candidate.

He has stressed that Government is not backing any individual in the FAZ election process as it is an independent procedure.

In a statement released to ZNBC news by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, the Minister further said Government has no knowledge of whether KEITH MWEEMBA is contesting the elections.

The FAZ elections are scheduled to take place on March 29, 2025 in Livingstone.
