No plan to extend presidential term – VP
By Michael Kaumba
Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says there are NO plans by the Government to extend the presidential term and remove the 50 plus one threshold.
Mrs. NALUMANGO wonders where opposition party leaders are getting such information.
Speaking during the Vice President’s Question time in the National Assembly, Mrs. NALUMANGO advised politicians to use social media responsibly.
And Mrs. NALUMANGO has called for patience as the Anti-Corruption Commission concludes investigations into alleged corruption cases by politicians.
She said that all those found wanting will be prosecuted.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the National Assembly, NELLY MUTTI cautioned Members of Parliament to be factual when they present Questions on the floor of the House.
