She says Government is committed to upholding the tenets of good governance in all state institutions.
Mrs. NALUMANGO says she has no doubt that the current perceived challenges the institution may be facing will be resolved by following good corporate governance practices, the constitution and other laws of the country.
She said this in the National Assembly when she delivered a Ministerial Statement on the alleged corruption at the Anti Corruption Commission following an urgent matter without notice that was raised by Lumezi Member of Parliament MUNIR ZULU.
Meanwhile, the Vice President said law enforcement agencies have started investigating the suspicious transactions listed in the Financial Intelligence Centre – FIC- report.
Mrs. NALUMANGO explained that people cannot be arrested because of being listed under suspicious activities in the report until investigations are done and evidence drawn to present the cases in Courts.
