No Violence recorded in Ward by-elections campaigns-ECZ

The Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- has described as peaceful campaigns being conducted by various political parties in all the 8 wards where by-elections will be held tomorrow.

ECZ Chairperson, MWANGALA ZALOUMIS says the conflict management committees in all the 8 wards have not received any reports of violence.

Speaking when she addressed the political party liaison committee meeting in Chirundu yesterday, Ms ZALOUMIS urged political party and civic leaders to continue preaching peace.

And Ms ZALOUMIS has emphasized that even those who registered in the 2022 Continuous Registration of Voters will be able to vote in the upcoming by-elections.
