Pambashe Constituency goes to the polls on January 7 , 2025
The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has set February 6 as the date for the Pambashe Constituency by-election in Luapula Province.
ECZ Corporate Communications Manager, Patricia Luhanga, says nominations for the Pambashe by-election will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Ms. Luhanga said the campaign period will start from Wednesday, January 8, 2025, to February 5, 2025.
She told ZNBC News in a statement that the by-election has been necessitated by the conviction of Ronald Chitotela, who was the Pambashe Constituency Member of Parliament for the Patriotic Front (PF).
