Persons with Disability back constitutional amendments

Zambia Union for All Persons Living with Disabilities President PASCAL MULENGA has urged persons with disabilities to ensure that they interpret the proposed constitution amendment with full understanding.

Mr. MULENGA says this will guarantee people with disabilities participate in the constitution amendment process by making  their submissions.

He has told ZNBC News that his organisation is happy with the proposed constitution amendments especially that it has a clause that focuses on enhancing the representation of women, youths and persons with disabilities.

Mr. MULENGA has also called on the government to consider making available the constitution in braille once finalized.
