Police ban cadres from courts
The Zambia Police Command has resolved that NO political cadres will be allowed to assemble at the courts.
Police Deputy Spokesperson DANNY MWALE has also called on political party leaders not to allow their sympathizers including cadres to gather at the High Court or anywhere near the court premises.
Mr MWALE says police are not going to tolerate any unruly behaviour from political party cadres irrespective of which party they belong to.
He says all those who will be found causing commotion will be arrested and prosecuted.
Mr MWALE was speaking on ZNBC’s KWACHA Good morning Zambia Programme.
He says the police command will deploy enough officers to maintain law and order in Lusaka’s Central Business District as well as other parts of Lusaka.
Mr MWALE has also warned political cadres to stay away from the hearing scheduled on the eligibility of Former Head of State, EDGAR LUNGU on Tuesday 9th July, 2024.
