Police Officers told to use social media responsibily

ZANIS-Inspector General of Police Graphel Musamba has called on police officers to use social media responsibly.

Mr. Musamba says the recent trend of officers filming themselves in uniform and while on duty is unprofessional.

Mr. Musamba made these remarks through Deputy IG in-charge of administration Alita Mbahwe at the Southern Division Command annual ball in Choma.

Mr. Musamba also mentioned that the police command is modernizing the police service by equipping officers with modern tools needed to effectively combat crime and provide safety for citizens.

Meanwhile, Southern Province Commissioner of Police Auxensio Daka disclosed that the Southern Division received 187 officers from the 2024 recruitment, which has boosted the command’s capacity to provide security in the province.
